The Problem

Professor Riffe had been operating her Accounting courses without using any Microsoft Excel tools because of the time required to create and grade each individual assignment. She understood the importance of being proficient in Microsoft Excel, especially for her grade students ––  who were preparing themselves to enter the business world. However, she offered ExPrep as an optional Excel supplement but wasn't aware of our custom automating grading feature. 

The Solution

After discovering ExPrep's automation grader –– Professor Riffe began to rework her course around ExPrep's features and capabilities. Since her introduction to ExPrep, Susan has now been able to create complex assignments with multiple versions to ensure academic integrity. Graduate students can continue improving their Excel skills while learning about balance sheets, financial modules, etc. Professor Riffe can now focus on improving her curriculum and providing her students with a quality education. 

The Results 

Students have enjoyed the multiple submissions and instant feedback feature –– as they feel they can retain essential accounting concepts more efficiently. Students can see the big picture versus just understanding a few concentrated topics Professor Riffe mentioned during the interview. Overall, the results have been tremendous for Professor Riffe's graduate accounting course.
